  • Walking apps for money

    Walking apps for money

Now this is going to be a ongoing mini series I’m doing about getting money from apps to increase my income and maybe pay a bill.

This going to be about walking apps. Now i doubt i will be able to make a lot of money in a month and i’m starting the tracking a lil late for this month of December. starting January if i stay on track i will get a better idea of how much i can make since i barely hit 6000 steps a day and the apps require advertisement to get the points or coins to trade for gift card or money.

One thing that is good is that most apps will take data from the smart watch and sync to it server so if i put the phone down it will still keep track and vice versa. Not all of the apps track the watch. So the apps i have down loaded so far is some foreign walking apps like BitWalk, WeWard, Scrambly, MoneyWalk, and a moving app as in walking and driving is GeoSmile.

Now Bit walk gives you BTCp which are Bitcoin points and you have to watch videos every about 500 steps to get so manny BTCps which over time will convert to a Bit Coin is what it says. Now as a average of BTCp this equals about .000025 points I am right now watching a Add for 5x BTCps to .000125 for 2000 steps and after that my daily would be about 0.001041 BTCp’s. The app does have extra ways of getting points like predicting if the original Bit Coin Price would be up or down by a certain time a day. It also has another option to get extra points by doing the lucky spin and this can give you extra points if you get higher than 4th place like 3rd place and up. The down fall is their is only two wallets it will allow you to withdrawal from and they are gemini exchange and Rockwallet, Now i don’t know about those but i will update as i go. To start withdrawal you have to be at .2 btcps. I have a ways to go as all time I’m at .06019 today the 16th of December.

Next is WeWard app this app is panda design and another walking type app that will track your steps and you collect wecards and weward points. Now to get points you will have to walk so many steps like 2500,5000,10,000 and increments of 5000. Now to redeem it starts at 500 for actual cash rewards or smaller for in app reward. Like most apps it does Venmo or PayPal and virtual gift cards. The we cards at more for you to walk around and collect or watch a add 4 times and receive 4 cards after a completed collection of cards receive a gift of some sort i do not know as I haven’t completed a deck yet.

The next app i am using is Scramberly and same premise as we ward 2500 steps to 5000 and increments of 5000 steps before you get a scramberly coin. This app also offers to get more coins by downloading and using other apps either games of shopping. This app has more exchange apps than weward with cash app visa and others redemption starts at about 1000 coins for a dollar and maxes at $50 dollars for 50,000 coins. It does have other options to sign up. Every 2500 to 5000 steps you get 10 6 coins.

Next up is is MoneyWalk this app has more ways to get points besides walking it lets you track sleep schedule and gives random amount of points between 1 and 10 points. It offered to watch an add to receive double the points. For every 50 steps you get 1 point to collect and the offers a 500 step bonus to collect every 500 steps could be between 1 and 15 with a chance to bonus by 2 or 3 if it is not 10 points or above. It also has health questions and water drink daily to flip a bottle even a food tracker for more points and the app game download so a lot of options to get points. Now to get the gifts need between 1,625 for a dollar to 16,250 for $10 virtual gift card depending on the brand or store.

now the last last one i have been using is GeoSmile. This app is interesting as you can get rewards from walking and driving but the down fall is their is so many blocks to fill is limited. You start out with three bars for driving and 10 bars for walking indicating the 10,000 step marker. Once you achieve a bar you can either clam it for 10 points and or watch a video to get 50 up to 100000 for a golden penguin never seen it yet lol. You scratch these cards and get a chance to get 50 if missed all three on the scratch card only get 50 gems and a second chance to get a penguin on another scratcher of 3×3. Scratch 1 get 100, 2 penguins and get 200 get three and a big boost of 1000 find the golden penguin and a huge jump 100000 gems. This app also has other ways to get gems and those are lucky wheel spin and get more 50, 100, 200, 1k and grand prize 100k gems after watching a add, next would be the slot machine get points by checking in and use those to spin the slot machine and match 3 penguin fish watermelon and triple 7, 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 grand prize. After that is has missions surveys and offers and referrals. This apps give you the ability to get items like accelerator and extra bars and the the gift cards start at $3, $5, and $10 for 30,000, 50,000, and 100,000 gems

that’s it for the intro to the apps, I’m not gonna lie keeping up with all is hard and doing it daily can be hard to remember. Thank you for reading and what are your thoughts? Im going to be trying to keep up dating these as I go but I’m also a forgetful busy person and i like doing this to focus my brain

  • Apps for money

    Apps for money

Hello all, I have been having money issues, probably like most in the world right now, and keeping up with this crazy economy. Now, I have been listing and/ or looking at these apps that can get you money. You know the survey apps, the game and win apps, there are betting apps, but I would rather make money by not investing or buying products to get a return. I don’t know about you, but I would rather get money from watching and answering survey questions. Now, none of this is an endorsement or I receive revenue from this post.

OK, people, the thing with these apps is that they are all to make the creator or company money and share some profit revenue to the consumer. Now, I know I can’t get a lot of money, but if I can get something to cover a bill a month, that would be great. Now, I don’t know how Thea’s able to do this, but I am a busy person. I have a full-time job and a house I try to take care of, but since my wife had to step down from working due to mental health issues, the bills have come down to me supporting, and with the prices keeping on increasing over the years and the pay staying the same, it has been getting hard to stay ahead. I already had to give up a few of my credit cards as if I would keep paying them, I would not be able to pay the main bills of the house, so yeah, now I’m in collections with a few cards and still not able to climb my way back up.

Now, I have been trying these random money apps for a few months, and I have tried some in the past, so let’s talk about a few and I would go in deeper with the ones I have been using.

So let’s start with the cash back apps now. The ones that I know are the biggest are Upside, Fetch, and Ibotta apps. Now I have used Upside and Rakuten before and know these apps either require you to select some sort of deal first and then scan the receipt of purchase with your smartphone to get some percentage of cash back, sometimes dollars depending on the size of purchase. Now Upside I used when it was only gas, so I would have to log on and select the gas station and then go and pump the gas and get like .25 cents a gallon back max, and others were like .01 or .10 cents a gallon back after purchase. Some places would require you to scan the receipt if not linked digitally to the gas station and/ or debit/ credit cards linked to the app. Upside started adding restaurants and grocery stores. Now I haven’t used it in a year or so. As life got busy, I started to forget and to use the app or it was only for expensive gas stations, and I would save the same amount of money by just going to a cheaper station, so it did not make sense for me to keep using the app as I don’t mind going to lower quality gas stations to get gas and I’m not brand specific for my vehicle fuel. I do plan on downloading these apps again and trying to use them to give an average Joe review.

If there is an app you think I should try or you have tried, let me know. I will try to be more active on this blog as I can, but with work and my kids and foster kids, I am busy, so I will try is all I can say.

Thank you for reading, and this is my beginning to app money refund reviews and make money with apps.

  • I tried this: Be active sciatic support

I tried this: Be active sciatic support

In this series of posts I’m just going to be talking about the products i have tried for my chronic back and sciatic pain. Todays topic is about a leg/knee support device and how it works to if it works.
The item i purchased is the BEACTIVE Plus Acupressure System – Sciatica Pain Relief Brace For Sciatic Nerve Pain, Lower Back, & Hip- Knee Brace With Pressure Pad Targeted Compression. it is a device that goes just under the knee and straps around the leg giving the pressure to compress and relieve some pain and it has a acupuncture press that presses against a nerve area and deadens the nerve pain a bit.

Now i was skeptical about it actually working how can a brace under the knee help relieve pain on your back? well this is the thing acupuncture is interesting how if the nerve is numbed out or the signal is stoped from sending all the way down the leg and back up it actually relieves the pain a bit making the day more manageable. Does it get rid of the pain? Short answer no it does not get rid of it but it does make it hurt less. their is a pressure point right next to your outer knee and if pressed with constant pressure it will disrupt the nerve sensation enough.

After i purchased this item i wore both braces every day on each leg for the while to help with my chronic pain and it did help but as soon as the braces were taken off the pain would come back so like i said in the earlier post it is like a bandaid helps in use does not help after removed.

the problem with this is after a while the fabric stretches and even the plastic loops can break. this happened to mine and i went and purchased some metal loops to replace the plastic and keep using it. At the moment i have not used them as they are really worn and i don’t think they can apply right amount of pressure i was thinking about getting some knew ones that have better durability.

My rating is a 4 out of 5 in usability and 3 out of 5 for durability after long and consistent use.

    Have you tried this before?
What are your thoughts on this type of device?

  • I Tried This

So as you may or may not have read i have a chronic low back pain issue diagnosed as Spinal Ridiculopathy, in lame mans terms pain with no visual issues in imaging. When my back flairs up it could cause multiple issues for me like pain in the back or the pain radiates to my sciatica and i get the hip, thigh, and leg pain that might be both or just on leg. Now with one leg i will compensate with the other leg that is not hurting and then the next day that leg hurst with compensation pain.

Now i have tried multiple things to help with acupuncture and chiropractic to even physical therapy. These have gotten the same result as in not much change or relief and they just want more appointments and for me more money i do not have. Their are items that act as bandaids and they help but use them for to long will result in worse effects when i get older and i do not want to be in more pain or a more severe condition.

These items that i call bandaids or braces yes the back brace knee brace and others. These items will help alleviate some pain as they compress the area around the injury and or swollen tissue. A regular back brace goes around the lower back area and tightens around the stomach to create pressure on the muscles and back tissue and this helps for your low to middle back pain for as long as it is worn. where this all the time and it can even weaken the back muscle as they adapt to the comfort and pressure of when the brace is worn. That is the main reason i don’t wear braces to often.

A few years ago I i decided to purchase a decompression back brace with a heated element built in as when I’m am on the heating pad that helps with the pain. The item pumps up and helps extend the spinal cord to help alleviate the pain

This is the item i purchased as you can see this is a nifty looking device the Brand i believe is Oramuon heated decompression belt.
(now I’m not getting paid for this post about it)
this is just a basic product insight from a basic person with pain.

Heating Pad & Vibration for Lower Back Pain Relief, Lumbar Traction Device Back Massager with Heat, Heated Back Brace with Massage, is the title it can be found under and it also has 3 levels of heating built into the heating pad function and a vibration heater that helps as well comes with a pump to help decompress the spin and let the vertebrae not grind on each other. The best part it is cordless so charge and go. Now i have used it for a while and it does help the heated feature and decompression is nice and helps drop the pain a few levels.

Now the Features that work and do not work would be the vibration and heated parts of the brace as the battery does not last that long with both features turned on and a little longer with only one feature on and working. Their were times i was working with it on and the battery would die but I did not want to take it off as the decompression feature works and the brace helps. those features plus the h make it great but the battery was not so good. so the posting does say wireless and yet i was tethered to a plug in to charge.

now “The Cordless Heated Back Brace is equipped with a 4000mAh battery, providing convenient usage anywhere you go. Depending on the operating mode, the battery can keep the belt functioning continuously for 130 to 410 minutes Individual experiences may vary. We suggest wearing it for 20-30 minutes at a time and discontinuing use if any discomfort arises.”this is what it says, but mine did not last 1 hr- 6 hrs maybe 30 min to 1.5 hours.

I would giver the decompression a 3.5 out of 5 and the heating pad a 4 when it was full power and working. how ever i do not care much for the vibration message feature as im already not a fan of them i have had more pain caused than relieved so a 2 for me as in it works the battery is a 2 as well as mine did not last as long.
If interested and and i can give you a link, again i am not getting paid to write this is personal opinion
