About

Quick intro

Hey, I’m Jayson — also known as Original Orient. Funny enough, the name actually came from one of my old gaming accounts and it just stuck. Over time it became more than a username — it became a way to describe how I move through life.

Like my tagline says, I’m a jack of all types and a master of none. To me, that means I’ve picked up a wide range of skills, experiences, and knowledge over the years — not enough to claim mastery in any one thing, but enough to jump into almost anything and figure it out.

I like learning. I like trying new things. And I like solving whatever task is in front of me, even if I’ve never done it before.

This blog is one of those things.

Why I Started This Blog

I’ve never been great at English class, writing essays, or any of that school stuff. So if you see grammar mistakes, just know I’m improving as I go. This blog is part of that growth — a place where I can practice, learn, and share what I’m figuring out along the way.

I started this space because I wanted a place to be real about:

  • What I’m learning
  • What I’m struggling with
  • What I’m trying
  • What’s actually helping
  • And what’s complete nonsense

If someone out there reads my posts and feels less alone, learns something new, or just gets a real honest take — then this blog is doing its job.

What You’ll Find Here

I write about the things I’m exploring in my life right now:

AI Learning Series

My journey learning AI tools from scratch — mistakes, wins, and everything in between.

Life Stories

Real moments, personal reflections, and the experiences that shaped me.

Product Reviews (I Tried This)

Honest reviews of things I’ve personally tested — especially stuff related to back pain, comfort, and everyday life.

Personal Growth

Thoughts on discipline, habits, identity, and becoming someone you’re proud of.

If you’re someone who’s trying to improve your life one step at a time, you’ll feel at home here.

A Little More About Me

  • I’m from California
  • I’m learning AI and digital skills from the ground up
  • I enjoy building systems that help me stay disciplined
  • I’m always curious and always learning
  • I believe in honesty over perfection

I’m not here pretending to be an expert. I’m here to share the journey — mistakes, progress, and everything in between.
