Returning Donation pt2

All right back at it again and this time it was a better day for the process and the company i donate through. Ok so i scheduled my appointment for the same time as the yesterday 6:45 pm. This time i arrived around 6:22pm and i just waited until 6:35 to start the basic self check in and health screening. Now today i was just trying to get this done with since i just went through the questionnaire yesterday. So you guessed it hast makes waist and I ended up answering one of the questions incorrectly so i did know until i went and waited to be seen by the phlebotomist that checks weight blood pressure temperature and the iron levels in the system. But before we get to the finger poke and machine scan of the blood draw they were like you answered A question that need to be revised by one of the nurses. Now back to the waiting area and Waite for the nurse. Luckily the nurse was quick and the question was did you read the poster about the side affects? And yes i did but I accidentally answered no, wow that is a small mistake but costed me 5 min of time. After we correct the question i give my finger print to approve and now back To get wieghed and checked before i head over to the machines and actively working phlebotomists. Now their is a few people waiting before so i sit and weight. While i wait i like to people watch but not much going on since we are all there to get some money for the plasmas in our body. Now they are going quickly today as the lines is moving 3 people get seated and now im the next person and not much more time until i get seated next to a plasma machine.

Once seated next to the plasma draw machine i weight for it to be hooked up and the phlebotomist to sanitize my arm and the machine to get ready to take my blood. This time I didn’t not see the person that stuck me last time with the nice large needle. I think that is a good thing since this physician stuck me pretty good and i did not see the needle move when the blood was coming back in to my vein. All together the machine was set for 858 ml of plasma and that when by family good no needle coming out and no leakage of blood from the needle site. I would recommend to bring a stress ball as gripping your own palm in a fist is kinda trying. From checking in at the self serve Computer station and getting bandaged up was approximately 1 hour and almost 15 minutes this time and I received payment on their cash card but they charge for every transaction so i am waiting to get at least 100 on it before with draw so i do not get charge a lot. After this experiment i finished and ready to get the next one done but i did have to change the times of my next appointment since i need to take my kids to school by school. This visit was not bad since they were busy but not to busy like last night
